Coarse fishing enthusiasts in the Derbyshire County Angling Club, who have Full Membership, can enjoy miles of excellent fishing on the rivers Derwent, Trent and Idle and the Chesterfield Canal at Retford along with a superb lake near Sawley and another 20 acre lake at Willington.
There are separate membership sections for the Lower Derwent at a cost of £40 per season, the River Idle at a cost of £21 per season and the Chesterfield Canal at Retford also at a cost of £21 per season. If the River Idle and Chesterfield Canal memberships are purchased together the cost is only £36.00
Matches may be booked by Angling Clubs on the Lower Derwent, River Idle and the Chesterfield Canal at Retford at a cost of £5.00 per peg. Contact Ron Trevis on 01246 851571 for further details.
